Utter silence surrounds me, save for the crashing of waves atop the shore. Ocean water sprays over my dark form, pale locks drifting on the breeze, slipping over my neck gently. I fine peace in this place, with the blue tints dancing in my orbs, and high sun streaming over me.
Another crest rises and falls, sweeping over the shoreline till it reaches my talons, spraying my pillars with chilled water. Despite it's calming touch, I still feel a nervous ache within myself, and my dark pools shift to the horizon, scanning quickly for any others. I have claimed my land, and now I search for a mare to share it with. This is a place I have never tread before, and I knew little about how to convince a mare to accompany me. I barely even knew how to speak around them, for the only horse I have ever spoken with were brutes, and most of those conversations were backed with anger and hatred. Sweet words and quiet hints don't exactly come easily to me, and I quickly began to feel myself slipping back into my world of dreams and nightmares. It has become a sort of refuge for me, and also a prison, where old foes return to meet me, and stubborn fears rise against me. What comfort I find there I do not no, but I once again I force myself to remain in reality, and take a few steps out of the water which now tickled my knees.

Quiet as she had come Cougar knew it was not hard to sneak on the soft sand of such a strange place, born in the mountains she knew of being limber over the larger objects though it did make a pattering sound as hooves touched the hard surface.
Since she had left the ground did not jar her feet as much nor did it make as much noise. For days she had wandered not having one clue where she was heading turning left then right some times walking parallel to her home she would stop and look up at its high mountain peaks the top clouded in a dark cloud of rain she knew that is not where her father would be but on the other side already had they climbed the length of the mountain she would know as she went the opposite way to them.
Lowering her head to the ground she breathed in gently at the soft sand, as she exhaled they darted out from under her breath and she danced to the side not knowing what to think of them.
Walking down the beach she came to a curve in it she picked up her feet into a trot as she turned to see another horse standing in the water she slowed to a stop her tail raided unsure of what to make of the stranger.

I lift my dome to the azure sky, eyes turning to the stranger approaching. A fae? She appeared to be alone, and perhaps without an alliance. With a few more steps I approach her, placing a warm smile on my lips, an unfamiliar feeling for me.
Hello.
I call out, struggling through the constricting sands to reach the mare. I dip my head in her direction, keeping the smile in place.
What are you called?
The sweet tone feels so out of place coming from me, but I feel that I would get used to it. It feels almost as if all my hopes and dreams ride of this mare's back, and I don't enjoying having to place my trust in others.

Cougar was still unsure what to make of the stranger, Taking a step back as he approached her ears flicking back and forth ready to run if need be. Cougar wished she was back home now more then ever.
"ah hello.." she stuttered "My name is Cougar..ah what is your name?" Though his sweet tones, did caress her ears and she told him her name which she normally would not do to any normally horse she had only just met. His coat was a chocolate colour and his mane a colour of sun just like hers. He was much taller her maybe she only told him her name in submission?

I'm Tsume.
I respond, the worlds feeling odd on my tongue. Not often do I speak my name, for there has never been anyone who cares. I find it so hard to act kindly, for I've never known such an emotion. Surely I have felt it, and simply not known it, but as I stand before this fae, my heart unsure of what to feel, I understand life is changing. The sun is setting, and the moon is rising, bringing with it change to the world. My world.
Maybe I should show-off a bit, it seems like the right thing to do. So I shifted my stands, cords rippling in strength. Adding as slight toss my my dome, with a elegant arch, I realize simply prancing around like and fool will only convince her I'm a self absorbed idiot.
Have you been around here long?

Cougar listened with open ears to his name "Tsume such a strong name..." she was still a little unsure of her self and of her word of speech but she was trying until he did something completely insane. He started off by a toss of his head they proceeded to prance around, Cougar snorted loudly at this sudden flight, taking another step back she was not so sure now weather this horse was so nice after all. "I....I.....no?..." she stuttered her eyes slightly wide with fright her tail flicked to her sides nervously and her skin twitched with each flick, like she had shocked her self. ((If he wants her he is gonna have to work for her ))

Alright, so the prancing had been a bad idea, but I was pretty new at this. It had probably had the opposite effect of what I had wanted, but it's a bit to late now.
Neither have I. I guess we've got something in common.
I voice, remaining still this time.
A high wave washes up to us, swirling around our pillars in foamy swirls. I pull back slightly with the shock of the frigid waters, unhappily lifting one of my limbs from the salty liquid in disgust.

"It seams we do have something in common" Said Cougar a small smile appearing on her parched lips, "Don’t you ever find it lonely..." she would have finished her sentence but the cold grasp of the water around her legs made her prance off to the left "What...what was that!" she called as she stopped up higher on the sand, lowering her head she gently touched her legs with her lips. Cougar had never before experienced the cold sea this was her first time seeing it. Even though seeing her legs where fine she still began to tremble as the sand began to cling to the wetness on her legs.

I smile slightly at the mare's reaction to the cold water, and her obvious lack of experience with the ocean. I quickly erase smile, realizing she could take it the wrong way, and take cautious steps in her direction, unable to keep a low laugh from my lips.
Not use to the water, I see.
I voice in a friendly tone, trotting up to her to be closer, a simple act which I know has more than what it seems behind it. She is the first horse I'd talked to in about two years, and it feels like I am coming alive again.
Uh, what were you going to say?
I ask, unsure if I want to know the answer.

Cougar shook her almost white mane "no....i have never seen water do that before only ever come from the sky....in the mountains we don’t have water that attacks you like that water did" Cougar sighed deeply trying to calm her nerves.
what was i going to say... Cougar her self was not even sure what she was going to say "ahh...i was going to say "Don’t you ever find it lonely to be by your self and not with others like you?" she didn’t mean to come across as rude that was not her intention even if it had sounded like that, she must like Tsume as she found her self remembering things and speaking to him with less of a stutter.
