The chilling winds rushed over the lands. Frost was settling down upon the short grass. Clouds darkend the sky and the sun peeked out from behind the horizon, rays shining onto the ocean waters. The sparkling waves crashed up against the shore, leaving dead fish as it retreated once more. The dorsal fin of a shark appeared and then submerged once more as if the coldness sent it away. Leaves tumbled across the frosty terrain. It was close to winter now and soon the snow would come upon the lands and not only the mountains.
A shadowy figure appeared over a hill, looking down upon the shore. Then the mass gingerly walked down the hill and stepped onto the sandy terrain, letting the wind fight with her banner and ribbons. Its boa was slightly arched, silky pelt shining as the sun rose higher into the morning sky. Auds pricked forward as its chocolate gaze was set upon the waves of the ocean. Moments of the past and the images passed through its mind, sending chills down its spine. Never again will it be comfortable around other equines, or will it?

+Can't you hear the ringing 'cause for you the bell tolls+
The ebony hued knight watched the equine with dark pupils, audits pricked and readily listening to his surroundings. The clash of waves upon the shoreline disrupted him greatly, and lifting his heavy talon he drug it cross the sand, digging through the layers with harsh movements. He could see below the horse, and a cruel smile stretched his lips, memories of past loves coming to mind. He'd had three herds in his time, and had killed everyone of his own mares due to their unfaithfulness. The last had led him on a wild chase to these lands, and with her demise, the stag had vowed to take in only those creatures which he knew would remain faithful to him. What a lie that had been, for the frame before him seemed to scream of danger, but never an open-minded brute, Obsidian cared little.
With greate presence he slipped down the dune, pistons held high with each extravagant step. A graceful arch of his muscular neck completed the entrance, and with judging orbs he settled before the figure, fangs revealed as he opened his mouth in speech.
Greetings, I am Obsidian.
He sang out, pools shinning in the dim sunlight which danced over his tall form. They were simple words which he spoke, but the essence of corruption seemed to weave between them.

Onyx painted vixen remained silent, the waves and her banner seemed to look like, just different hues. The sound of hoofbeats against the sandy terrain startled her. She lifted her miserable gaze to the large brute that towered over her. There was no expression upon her facade. Auds twitched slightly as she stared at him. There was no sound coming from her vocalbox.
Then turning away from him, she walked away, just like she did all those years to other stallions. Showing fear would simply be stupid. Turning and walking away just might be able to tell them all to shut up and leave her be. She didn't want anything to do with other equines. They were all the same to her and she hated them.

The beast drew back in shock as the femma turned from him, ignoring his call. Whatever she had, to think she could simply walk away from him. Obsidian was too proud a steed to let this indignity stand, and, even understanding her obvious rejection, he was determined to take her back with him, to where ever he pleased. She would be his, and his alone.
Where do you think you're going?
He growled, pillars stretching forward to keep stride with the fae. His eyes dark and hate-filled now, he abandoned any attempt and decency, his mouth in a snarl which revealed the white fangs which would once again pierce the flesh of those that were his.
His height made him feel overly powerful, and invincible god that ruled above all. With this great pride in tow, he stepped before the mare, his intent to halt her retreat with his overwhelming size.

Yes, she would just simply walk away from him. The only dark she has ever met was her father and now she knew that this was the second time she came upon a dark. He seemed to be like her father, just taller and not as craving for sex. As his words rolled off his tongue, she snorted softly, the only thing that came from her. Still, no words came from her maw and she would never say anything no matter what he did to her.
As he came in front of her, she halted and let her gaze look up upon his angered orbs. With another snort, she turned and walked around him, avoiding his hindquarters so he couldn't kick the crap out of her.

How dare she! Obsidian felt like spinning around and tearing out the mare's throat. She would be his, one day should see, there was no way to escape his grasp. None could challenge him and win, and neither could she.
Run while you still can, because I promise you you'll only be able to crawl once I have hold of you.
He growled beneath his breath, kicking out with his hind pillars in uncontrollable rage. He stood in the wave's path for a moment, pools dark a rage filled as he watched the fleeting foam. With a great cry to heaven he trampled the earth, spinning to return to his side beside the mare. It wasn't over, not until someone started bleeding.

Such a liar, you are. The thought ran through her mind like hot water, leaving a streaming path behind. Nares began to flare as his 'growl' reached her auds. Just great; just what she needed. If he wanted a fight, a fight he would get. Though she might seem depressed and miserable, but under all that there's a bit of rage maybe and the need to get the bastard away.
His hind daggers then thrashed out at the air, maybe missing her by a few inches. Ribbons tucked in slightly like a scared puppy, but it was the reaction she got for bolting forward slightly, letting her hindquarters drop slightly. Then she stood straight again and there he was, standing beside her. She saw the look in his orbs and then suddenly gave him in the same look back, but then it disappeared as fast as it came. Pillars then carried her slender mass in front of him at a calm walk. She then stepped onto the hard terrain again where the frost was melting under her toes.

He continued to follow her, whispering dark words to himself as refused to leave. He' follow her anywhere if be, he'd never been defeated, and this creature sure was going to be the first mar on his record.
Come on, now, am I really that bad?
He voiced, doubting the words would do anything, or that he'd even get a reply. The fae had stayed silent so far, and he was beginning to doubt if she spoke at all, in which case it might be better to kill her now, removing her from existence. There was no place for a blemished mare in his herd, and she might end up being the fourth lead he'd kill. What bad luck he had with mares, it was unfortunate, too, for so many had been such pretty little things.

Ah, so he was going to follow? Fine, fine. But he would get nothing from her. Talking was her only choice probably at the moment. Well, so she thought. She listened to his words yet again and snorted roughly. "Bad? BAD? You're horrible!" The words came out so sudden and loud that she thought for a moment it wasn't even her who said that. Gaze searched the area around her and then looked to him. Then she looked away and rolled her orbs. Those words echoed through her mind over and over again. Two years since she's said a word and now she says four.

See? Now we're getting somewhere.
Obsidian declared with a bright smile, figuring he was finally getting to the mare. She could be broken yet, and now he knew she could speak. As he looked her up and down, he couldn't help but remember his last mare with a sour expression, for she was always on his mind. But no mistakes this time, any bastard foals would be killed as soon as they touched the earth.
I don't suppose you'd tell me you're name? I'll call you Silence, then.
He added, tossing his dome with confidence.
