Picture: coming soon (actually, i would have had one, but the stupid computer went wonky on me)
Name: Tsume
Gender: Stallion
Age: 5
Color: summer black with cream, almost silver mane
Breed: Rocky Mountain Horse
Height: 16 hh
Affiliation: Shadowed
Personality: It's hard to describe Tsume, because his personality is so unpredictable. He has one of the largest and coldest hearts you've ever sen, and his words are spoken often with love and hatred behind them. Though he walks in the light, the shadows of darkness can clearly be seen in him, and it is that inner conflict that can so rapidly change his mood.
History: Born to a lone mare who'd been force bred by a dark stallion, Tsume spent little time under her care, for she killed by the same stallion. Narrowly escaping death, Tsume bears with him the memories of his encounter in the form of a large x shaped scar across his chest. After watching his mother's death, the young foal survived on the fringes of a small herd, taking advantage of the limited protection they provided. As he grew older, he wandered away from th group, setting out to find whatever his heart desired, and maybe what it wished for most.
Sample Post:
So here I stand, alone once more on the fringes of reality, casting away the only ones who ever known me to find a land of dreams. But the reality which boundaries I now stood at seemed to hold a promise the farthest edges of that small group had not held for me. A chance to be on my own, though in truth I had been on my own all this time. As I look forward at the expanding horizon, sun setting over my back and reminding me time was limited, I knew my last chance to rise above what I was born as lay here, within or without the wall of the empty cities and low plains. Mountains rise high above, rivers snaked far below, and I continue to stand, unwilling to take that last step from this world I have encased myself in.
Light is fading quickly, and I know I must choose now, before my choice flies away on the fleeting light. A star winks at me over my head, a silver gem to show me my way. It's just one step, but my legs won't move, and the most horrid, unbearable emotion of fear fills me, warning me that danger lies ahead. But danger lies behind, as well. How long can i had within myself from what I lived? How long till the scar which mars my chest points me out to the slaughtering brute who also once instilled such fear within me?
Pillars lifting slowly, I take my step, flints landing across my invisible boarder to pull me back to the world, the thing that lives now, and not then. Heart pounding, stomach churning, thoughts racing, soul rejoicing, I enter into the new life, head held high in pride. There is no path, but I feel the way to go, watching the dust curl around me as my steady steps fall downward, ever leading me somewhere new.
