Mares
1. Check the mare's signature to see if she's been claimed.
2. You can claim or steal a mare at any time while they are in public areas.
3. If you want an already claimed mare, you can steal her at any time. If there is interference by her leading stallion, you may have to take the fight to the battle grounds.
4. To steal or claim a mare in a public ground, respond to a post started by her. You can also post a topic something along the lines of "Bob went into the field, scouting for mares" and see who responds.
5. To steal a mare in a territory, you can be more specific. For example, "Bob charged in and took Mary."
Lands
1. Claiming unclaimed lands is simple. Make a post on that land that has to do with claiming, and it's yours.
2. If you want to steal a land, you must challenge the current leader, and fight with him on the battle grounds.
